Uzeli su nam grad,
ali jos vise sebi.

Jer oni ne znaju da citaju
poruke s otpalog lisca,
oni ne mogu da vide
visove snova u vodi,
oni ne znaju da ulice
imaju i staze kroz srca.

I nisu nam grad uzeli,
tek nemustu prazninu.
Grad je otisao s ljudima,
sa onima koji ga vole,
sad zivi u svakom od nas,
beskrajan u nasoj tjeskobi.

Sada jos vise volimo
i ono cega nema
dok vjetar raznosi lisce
po alejama dusa
i rijeke teku uvis
niz nase pruzene ruke.

They robbed us of our city,
but they robbed themselves even more.

They do not know hot to read
messages from the fallen leaves
they are unable to see
the heights of the dreams in the water,
and they do not know that the streets
made their paths trough our hearts.

And they did not take our city,
they just took the hollow emptyness.

The city went with its people,
with thou who love it,
and now it lives in each of us,
endless, in our anxiety.

As the wind blows the leaves
though the alleys of our souls,
and rivers flow upstream,
down our outstretched arms,
we love even more,
what we do not have.
